Versailles [Chateau, Park | Dec 2021]

This album contains select photos from the Park of Versailles on the last afternoon of 2021. Highlights include the main buildings on a surprisingly warm day, the grand canal, and two flocks of Canada geese.

I noticed that the management had clear-cut the four rows of trees between the canal and the Apollo fountain. In my view, this is a classic example of overstaffed organizations: Staffs need to carry out some activities and use all of their budgets, lest they received less funding the next year. In this case, as is usually the case, the result is disastrous. We can extrapolate this to the French bureaucracy: mofos are destroying their country a la USSR.
