This album documents the first weeks of the lives of 7 goslings by a Canada goose couple. The highlight of this album is the pen holding all 7 goslings on her back, tucked under her wings, as they napped.

This album documents the first weeks of the lives of 7 goslings by a Canada goose couple. They hatched in the beginning of May 2021 and grew rapidly. Whereas the mute swan cygnets born just days later all died within the same month, all 7 goslings survived.

As I post these photos in August 2021, they have grown to the size of adult geese, even though they still follow their parents around (and behavior is about the only clue to tell them apart).

The highlight of this album is the pen holding all 7 goslings on her back, tucked under her wings, as they napped.

This album will be followed by further posts of the growth of these birds in the months that followed.
